2013 Program: The Symposium for Professional Wine Writers at Meadowood Napa Valley

Deep Dive Day

Morning and afternoon sessions optional

Bus departs for Robert Mondavi Winery Visit, Interviews and Video Shoot

Winery Visit, Interviews and Video Shoot

At Robert Mondavi Winery, parallel tracks on video training/shooting, and narrative writing research; attendees choose one or the other for the day. Interviews with Margrit Mondavi and Genevieve Janssens. Video instruction by Kaethy Kennedy and Amy Weber of Storycellars video production company, writing instruction by Louise Kiernan of Medill School of Journalism. Workshops follow at 1:30 p.m. to edit video and compose stories based on the visit.
