Registration Fee
The symposium registration fee is $475. All attending participants and speakers remain throughout the course of the program, attending all sessions and thus strengthening the experience. Private or group coaching is included in the $475 registration fee, as are all conference sessions, pre-conference sessions and all meals, receptions and wine tastings. Please note that the symposium schedule leaves Wednesday night open for attendees to dine on their own at Napa Valley restaurants; all other meals from Tuesday lunch through Friday breakfast are provided.
Hotel Accommodations
The 2011 symposium will take place from February 22 through February 25, 2011, at Meadowood Napa Valley in St. Helena, California. Meadowood offers Symposium attendees a special lodging rate exclusively for participants of $250 per person per night plus applicable taxes. Symposium participants may extend this rate to dates just prior to or just following the Symposium, space permitting. For more information on Meadowood, please visit www.meadowood.com.
The room deposit of $250 is payable with the registration form. When requesting reservations, please note arrival and departure dates carefully. Late arrival or early departure causes forfeiture of deposit, unless changes are made seven (7) days in advance. Driving directions will be sent with room confirmation.

Accompanying Guest
Although the symposium sessions are open only to symposium participants, you may invite a guest who is lodging with you at Meadowood to the receptions and dinners. Cost for guest attendance is $100 per evening, space permitting. Please indicate the evening(s) your guest will be attending on the Meadowood registration form.
Dress
Relaxed attire during the symposium (please, no jeans). Evening dress entails jackets for men and wine country elegant attire for women for dinner all evenings. February temperatures in Napa Valley run between 40 and 60 degrees daytime. Please check the National Weather Service prior to arrival. Evening temperatures may drop to the mid-30s.
Food Preferences or Allergies
When registering for the symposium, please make us aware of food preferences you may have, such as a preference for vegetarian cuisine, as well as food allergies of which our chefs should be alerted.
Coaching Opportunities
Throughout the symposium, personal coaching sessions will be available.
Wines
Throughout the Symposium for Professional Wine Writers, the wines, sparkling wines, brandies and dessert wines poured will be shared from the caves and cellars of members of the Napa Valley Vintners.
